xx coin has been listed at a Tier 2 exchange.
Many have been disappointed by the price, given that second community sale priced the coin 250% above the opening price.
Since then the price of xx coin has gone up considerably, but those who acquired their xx coin only through the second community sale are still under water by around 30%.
I think the price for the second community sale was set a little on the high side, but which coin buyer does not?
One argument in favor of the price set for the second community is the price was right for that time. Maybe, but the XX Network Team should have assumed that crypto was peaking and not knowing when exactly the coin would be listed, they could have set a lower price.
It is what it is.
Those who have also earned their coins throgh participation in BetaNet, or participated in the first community sale, are in the black.
Privacy rights are threatened even more than before, and value proposition of the network is even better.
xx Messenger is “almost there” - two more updates and most obvious problems should be solved - probably before end of this year.
The next phase is probably private xx coin transactions. As you probably know, xx Messenger uses cMix to mix messages to hide metadata, but xx coin transactions happen on xx chain, which is based on Substrate and doesn’t have privacy features. As soon as the XX Foundation gets a good proposal for the implementation of private xx coin transactions, xx Messenger will become twice as valuable and useful.

Getting the coin listed was a major milestone for the project, and in my estimate it didn’t go great. But considering we’re in “crypto winter”, it’s not terrible either.
The coin price has been improving, validation is profitable, and all fundamentals are in place and now that the coin has price, people will start applying for those grants which will take the network to next phase of growth.
